REFUND POLICY
Tuple Equine is committed to transparency, fairness, and the welfare of our horses. This policy explains the circumstances under which a purchaser may request a refund or return.
If you buy a horse from Tuple Equine (a business):
-
You are protected by UK consumer law.
-
The horse must be as described and fit for the purpose it was sold for.
First 14 days after purchase
-
If the horse is not as described or not fit for purpose, you can ask for a full refund.
-
You must tell us in writing within 30 days.
-
The horse must not have been resold, bred from, or significantly overworked.
Behaviour & soundness
-
Horses can behave differently in new environments.
-
Normal settling-in issues are not grounds for a refund.
-
Refunds are only considered for serious problems that clearly existed before the sale.
Vettings
-
We strongly recommend an independent vetting.
-
A vetting does not guarantee future soundness.
-
Vet reports help decide refund requests but do not automatically mean a refund.
What refunds don’t cover
-
Change of mind
-
Change in buyer circumstances
-
Issues caused after sale by handling, care, injury, or management
Transport & costs
-
Return transport costs are normally the buyer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
Our promise
-
We describe our horses honestly
-
We put welfare first
-
We aim to resolve any issues fairly and professionally
If you have a concern, please contact us as soon as possible in writing.
